Pocket Nutrition Coach ("we", "us", "the app") is operated by Platform Strong. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how it's handled when you use the app on the web, iOS, or Android.
Account information
Email address, name, and profile photo if you add one.
Health and nutrition information you provide
Sex, date of birth, height, weight, waist measurement, body-fat percentage, activity level, dietary preferences, and progress photos you choose to upload. This is the core data the app needs to calculate macro targets and build meal plans — it exists because you entered it, and it's never required to use every feature of the app.
Payment information
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe (web) or Apple/Google (in-app purchase on iOS/Android). We never see or store your full card number — Stripe and Apple/Google handle that directly and share with us only what's needed to know your subscription is active (e.g. a customer ID and subscription status).
Usage information
Which features you use, meal plans you generate, foods you log — used to run the app (e.g. showing your history) and to improve it.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your health data for advertising.
We use a small number of service providers to run the app, each only able to access what they need to perform their function: Supabase (database, authentication, file storage), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (web payments), Apple/Google (in-app purchases on their platforms), and Resend (transactional email). If you're a client working with a coach through the platform, that coach can see your progress data — that's the coaching relationship the app exists to support. We don't share your data with anyone else without your consent, except where required by law.
You can view, edit, or delete most of your data directly in the app (Settings, Body Stats, Progress Photos). To request full account deletion or a copy of your data, email us at the address below — we'll action it within a reasonable timeframe.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where we're required to retain records (e.g. payment records) for legal or accounting purposes.
Pocket Nutrition Coach is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
