1. The service
Pocket Nutrition Coach provides macro/calorie calculation, meal planning, and progress tracking tools. It is not a medical service and does not provide medical advice. Nutrition targets generated by the app are general guidance, not a substitute for advice from a doctor or registered dietitian. This matters especially if you have an existing medical condition, are pregnant, or are considering a calorie target below general safety minimums (the app will warn you if this applies).
2. Accounts
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be 13 or older to create an account.
3. Subscriptions and billing
You can use the app free, without a card. Paid access is a subscription that renews automatically until you cancel it.
On the web, subscriptions are billed by Stripe, our payment provider, at the price and billing interval shown before you pay. The founding membership is A$2 a week, charged every week, for the first 5,000 members. Held at that price for as long as you stay subscribed. You can cancel any time from Billing in the app, which opens Stripe's billing page.
In the iPhone app, subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple at the App Store's own prices, under Apple's terms. You manage or cancel them in your Apple Account's subscription settings.
Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep your account and everything you've logged. Cancelling doesn't refund the period you've already paid for, except where required by law or App Store policy. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
4. Coach accounts
Some accounts are licensed as "coach" accounts, giving access to manage a roster of clients under the coach's own branding. A coach account is a licence to use the platform. It does not transfer ownership of the platform, its code, trademarks, or underlying systems. Coach accounts may not: reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the platform's functionality; use access to the platform to build a competing product; or share account access outside their own coaching business. We may suspend or terminate a coach account for breach of these terms, at which point that coach's clients will be reassigned or notified as appropriate.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of content you upload (progress photos, custom recipes, etc.). You grant us a licence to store and display it back to you and, if applicable, to your assigned coach, solely to provide the service.
6. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the app: no attempting to bypass access controls, no uploading unlawful content, no using the app to harass or harm another user.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, Kong-Crete Nutrition Pty Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
